In order to protect cylinders from side loading, Bimba recommends a pivot bracket mount, which allows the rear of the cylinder to pivot, maintaining proper load to cylinder relationships. This will lead to longer cylinder life in your application. Pivot pins are supplied with either the bracket or pressed into the rear tang of the cylinder as standard.
